A decisão holandesa

"Marriage was never really an option for gays and lesbians in the US until it became legal in the Netherlands. We always laughed about it. It seemed so ludicrous: two men or two women walking down the aisle. It was an awkward, new concept for us: to take your relationship so seriously, to declare your love publicly in front of others, in front of your family. You should not underestimate the importance of that Dutch decision".
